Rodney is Chairman and CEO of The Kroger Co., which employs nearly half a million associates who serve America through food inspiration and uplift. More than 11 million customers shop Kroger every day through a seamless digital shopping experience and in 2,800 grocery retail stores under more than a dozen banner names.

Experience

Rodney joined Kroger in 1978 as a part-time stock clerk in Lexington, KY. During his career with Kroger, he has served in numerous leadership positions, including assistant treasurer, vice president of Planning and Capital Management, corporate controller, chief financial officer, senior vice president, executive vice president and vice chairman. He was elected to Kroger’s board of directors in 2003, to president and chief operating officer in 2009, and to his current position in 2014. Rodney was named Chairman of the Board in 2015.

As The Kroger Co.’s senior vice president and CFO, Gary is responsible for Accounting & Financial Reporting, Financial Planning & Capital Management, Operational Finance, Tax, Pension Investment, Insurance & Claims, Treasury, Audit & Risk Management, Investor Relations, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Development, Payments Services & Support, Finance Modernization and Enterprise Sourcing.

Experience

Gary joined Kroger in 2008 as chief executive officer of Kroger Personal Finance (KPF), the division of Kroger that delivers financial and retail services through the Kroger Family of Brands and Companies. In 2014, Gary assumed responsibility for the integration of Kroger's corporate strategic initiatives. Before coming to Kroger, he was responsible for the Royal Bank of Scotland’s (RBS) Personal Credit Card business in the United Kingdom. He joined RBS in 1987 and held leadership positions in Sales & Marketing, Finance, Change Management, Retail Strategy and Branch Operations. He became senior vice president and CFO for Kroger on April 4, 2019.

As Senior Vice President, Chief Merchant and Marketing Officer, Stuart is responsible for sales, pricing, promotional and category planning for Fresh foods, Center Store and General Merchandise categories, as well as Analytics & Execution, e-Commerce and Digital Merchandising, Fuel and Our Brands. As Chief Marketing officer, Stuart led the company through a brand transformation which was revealed in November of 2019 and continues to enhance our brand reputation as a company that is inclusive and a leader in Fresh through our brand campaign, Fresh for Everyone. He leads a diverse team of associates who work collaboratively to put the consumer at the center of every business decision.

Experience

Stuart joined Kroger as CEO of 84.51°, Kroger’s data analytics arm. Before leading 84.51°, he served as CEO of dunnhumby USA, LLC for six years. Prior to that, he was executive vice president and chief marketing officer for arts-and-crafts retailer, Michael’s Stores, and for nearly a decade, he led marketing strategies, loyalty marketing, data analytics, innovation and category management at Safeway. Stuart was a software programmer in Silicon Valley and a Technology professor in Scotland, where he taught AI, analytics and small business management.

As the senior vice president and chief people officer of The Kroger Co., Tim leads all areas of HR and Labor Relations including Total Rewards, Labor Relations, Diversity, Business Unit Human Resources, People Operations, Training and Development, Talent Hiring, Retention and Engagement, Corporate Affairs, Associate Communications, Shared Services and Aviation.

Experience

Tim joined Kroger in 2010 as vice president of Talent Development. He was promoted to group vice president of Human Resources and Labor Relations in 2014 and was appointed as Chief People Officer in 2015. He was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2018. Prior to joining the company, he served in several HR leadership positions over 21 years at Procter & Gamble. Tim has an extensive global HR generalist background in leadership development, performance management, strategy development and employee communications and engagement.

Yael leads technology and digital capabilities for The Kroger Co., redefining the customer experience through our seamless ecosystem, and making the lives of our associates easier through innovative and intuitive data and technology enabled solutions. He works closely with senior business stakeholders to establish innovative and reliable technology platforms that allow Kroger to continually transform and adapt to a rapidly changing food and retail landscape. Yael also leads our Alternative Profit portfolio of businesses, including insight and media focused subsidiary – 84.51˚ and our financial services entity – Kroger Personal Finance, all contributing to redefining the retail business model.

Experience

Prior to his current position, Yael was group vice president and chief digital officer, where he led the company’s overall digital growth strategy, e-commerce expansion and Vitacost business. He also previously served as chief commercial officer and chief information officer of 84.51° since its inception in 2015. Prior to this, he held several leadership roles at dunnhumby USA, LLC, including executive vice president of consumer markets, global chief information officer, and chief executive officer of KSS Retail, a dunnhumby company and global enterprise software provider of price modeling and optimization solutions for retailers worldwide.
