Mr. Kevin Brown, Dell Technologies’ Executive Vice President of Global Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer, is an experienced industry leader in operations, technology and procurement. During his tenure at Dell, he has had key leadership roles, including Chief Procurement Officer. He was instrumental in establishing manufacturing operations in the U.S. and Asia. In his current role, and throughout his professional career, Mr. Brown has focused on ensuring company efficiency, cost reduction and innovation. As EVP of Global Operations and Chief Supply Chain Officer at Dell, Mr. Brown manages a global supply chain across 180 countries and 25 manufacturing sites. Currently, he is spearheading the transformation of Dell's supply chain through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), using advanced analytics and machine learning to enhance forecasting and optimize operations. His efforts have led Dell to be recognized as having one of the most efficient, sustainable and innovative supply chains.
Before Dell, Mr. Brown spent 10 years in the shipbuilding industry at Newport News Shipbuilding, where he held leadership roles in reactor plant engineering, construction management and facilities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Howard University Center for Supply Chain Excellence and the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for The George Washington University and The Hotchkiss School and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Kevin earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and his M.S. from The George Washington University.
His combined deep global supply chain and procurement expertise, track record of sustainability and resilience leadership and experience in circular economic business practices are of value to The Kroger Co. Board in his role as director and member of the Public Responsibilities Committee. His deep expertise in all matters related to supply chain, supply chain resilience and risk and crisis management is of particular value to the Board.
