Greg is Chief Executive Officer of The Kroger Co., which employs nearly half a million associates who serve America through food inspiration and uplift. More than 11 million customers shop Kroger every day through a seamless digital shopping experience and in 2,700 grocery retail stores under more than a dozen banner names.
Experience
Mr. Foran was appointed Chief Executive Officer and joined the Board of Directors in February 2026. Prior to joining Kroger, he held senior leadership roles at Woolworths, Walmart and Air New Zealand, most recently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Air New Zealand from 2020 to 2025. Before Air New Zealand, Mr. Foran joined Walmart in 2011 and held a series of senior positions, including President and CEO of Walmart China from 2012 to 2014, Walmart Asia in 2014, and Walmart U.S. from 2014 to 2019. Prior to joining Walmart, Mr. Foran held senior leadership roles at Woolworths.
